We are a supply-driven Alaskan seafood delivery program. Our membership model allows us to roughly gauge how much seafood to consistently procure from sustainable fisheries. This approach aligns with our commitment to sustainability and ensures that only the highest quality Alaskan seafood is shipped to your door. So in that sense, we're much different than your typical fishmonger or grocery store.

IS THE FISH FRESH OR FROZEN?

Each delivery of wild Alaskan seafood is shipped frozen to your door. Believe it or not, when it comes to buying seafood online, frozen fish is actually some of the freshest seafood you can buy – because it's frozen at the peak of freshness. Purchasing from Wild Alaskan Company means you are buying frozen fish online from a high quality source that retains great nutrition, texture and taste.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR DELIVERY?

No, your Alaskan seafood is delivered frozen in an eco-friendly, insulated box with the perfect amount of dry ice to keep your seafood ice cold until the end of your scheduled delivery day. You'll always be notified by email letting you know when your fish is set to arrive at your doorstep.

IS THE FISH FARM RAISED OR WILD CAUGHT?

We only source wild-caught fish from sustainably-managed fisheries in Alaska. There's a common misconception that consuming fish from farms is a good solution to overfishing. But the reality is that conventional fish farms can actually contribute to overfishing on a global scale. As a sustainable seafood delivery program, we make it easy for you to buy wild salmon and other varieties of seafood from responsible fisheries.

WHAT ARE THE PORTION SIZES?

The fillets in our standard seafood boxes are 6 to 8 oz. per portion of wild Alaskan salmon or white fish. This is above the FDA's standard 4 oz. serving size for fish. Box add-ons and specials vary in size.

CAN I SKIP OR CANCEL?

Yes. You can adjust your fish delivery schedule, plan type, frequency and even cancel completely through your online account portal. If you'd prefer, chat with us and we'll help customize your membership to meet your preferences and schedule.
